    There is an really interestting posting on www.blender.org:
    The Piovra Project - a network rendering script for blender:

    Should be running on OSX as well, It's all written in Python.
    Gonna try as soon as I've got some spare time..
    Looks very interessting, its aal on the command line or through GUI 's
    
    And, mentioning your "ciao", piovra is written by Italians, Arriverderci!
